My artistic journey reignited in 2022 after decades in gallery and nonprofit sectors. I explore the body and organic forms through intuitive strokes, blending nature's essence into vibrant, textured compositions.
My paintings usually begin in darkness. Working from deep fields and dark rounds I build surfaces through layered impasto and sgraffito, excavating marks rather than simply applying them. From this ground, luminous forms emerge: orbs, flames, biological presences that exist at the threshold between abstraction and figuration.
